About Me
- I'm a semi-retired web designer/dev; front end, back end, many different tools.
- Started building websites in 1996. I'm unlikely to stop now.
- Learning Data Visualization. It's how to learn and teach many important things.
- I consult on business practices and the web.
- Occasional commercial photographer & videographer.
- Learning to make films, both documentaries and fiction.
- Founding member of Team OverAchiever; a local film-making collective. We're very, very new.
- BAs in Anthropology and Psychology. 2 years of grad school in Anthropology at UCSD. Took a break; ended up in high tech. Kids, this is what can happen if you don't stay in school.
- Twitter: @JSBracher. I mostly retweet useful information about web design & development, photography, or film-making. I also share information about security, civil liberty, science, and other bits as warranted.
- Flickr: JSBracher. Mostly nature. Some events. More flowers than I ever would have imagined. Other stuff. Becoming fascinated by portraits.
- I don't spend much time on Facebook, G+, or LinkedIn. If I don't connect with you it's because I don't spend time there and connecting with me probably isn't useful to you.
